An intense and expressive ceramic surface, with precious inclusions, combining the dynamic look of natural stone and the cement look. StoneOne alternates natural stone appeal with non-treated surfaces, for an authentic rich detail which compliments other textures such as wood and marble.   StoneOne by Marcacorona was chosen by the clients and Daniel Scerri Periti to surface the flooring for the conversion of the 1980s Semi-Detached Villa in Lija for both indoor and outdoor areas, pool coping and internal pool steps, complimenting the Calacatta Fusion marble stairs.   Blue Limestone in brushed finish was cladded to the facade and outdoor …

Halmann Vella was entrusted with the cladding works of the façade at Sterling Head Quarters. The splays in the Travertine cladded walls create a light and shade effect which complements well the architecture of the building and its surroundings. Façade works entail precision and attention to detail to define accurately an Architect’s vision and a client’s wish.  An aluminium structure was designed according to an as-built survey. It was detailed to cater for the weight of the marble and to create the splays in the walls and ceilings. Travertine slabs were then measured, cut to size, and pinned onto a …

Designed by Carlo Schembri.

A relaxing stay from the very beginning. That’s the feel Carlo Schembri wanted to give to the reception at Be.Hotel Malta. 68 square meters of parquet tiles in Gardenia Orchidea complement the wooden backdrop, creating a well-defined space in conjunction with the white soffit ceiling. 360 square meters of Arisostea 1.2×0.6m white tiles make for a soft, embracing atmosphere, and are also featured in corridors, lift lobbies and bathrooms for an all-rounded hotel experience.

A well deserved new look for Eden Cinemas in St. Julian’s. Lead Designer Sean Cassar at The Design Hub entrusted us with providing brushed columns in Pietra Lavica, as well as the flooring and the stairs, giving the place a dynamic and modern look. Marble takes centre stage in this 19th century Palazzo’s story. Located in Valletta on St. Ursula Street and badly damaged during the war, this building is now a beautiful private home. A large screen of Patagonia marble cut and installed in book-match, acts as a backdrop to the large marble dining table by Mangiarotti, shielding the food preparation and cooking space from view. Zebrino Marble covers the wall and the inner side of the door of the bathrooms. Customised bathroom sink in Bianco Sivec is carved from solid marble. The main staircase of this prestige townhouse has been clad in …
