Halmann Vella is proud of its pivotal role in the embellishment of the entrance to Sant’Anton Palace – a landmark project marking the intersection of history and modernity. The memorial to Grand Master Antoine De Paule, recently inaugurated by H.E. President George Vella, commemorates the historical origins of the official residence of Malta’s Head of State. The concept, imbuing historical heritage with contemporary relevance, is the work of internationally acclaimed artist Austin Camilleri. No visitor to the palace will escape the strong gaze of Antoine De Paule, cast in bronze, standing firmly in the central portal. At his feet, lies …
Casa Rosanna, a boutique hotel in Marsascala, exemplifies how historic properties can be revitalised while preserving their architectural integrity. Originally built in 1885, this semi-detached villa underwent a meticulous restoration in which Halmann Vella, a leader in local surfacing and design, played an integral role. The project seamlessly merges rustic architecture with contemporary flair, creating a space that feels both timeless and modern. Central to this transformation were ceramic tiles from Marca Corona, the renowned Italian brand established in 1741. Known for its Mediterranean-inspired designs, Marca Corona’s tiles were a key element to the restoration, adding charm and sophistication while …

The E-Pantar building project has been a very exciting project for us. Nothing beats shaping a building from scratch, with all the possibilities to create something so beautiful. Layout flexibility was one of our top priorities when designing this building, hence the use of raised flooring in most operational areas. Once the layout was finalised, it was time to embellish the space, choosing a mix of beautiful natural stone such as Carrara marble and travertine as well as ceramic for the interior and white and black precast terrazzo panels for the façade….to form a beautiful whole.
